Is Seafarr free?
Yes. Basic is free forever with no card needed: your documents, readiness, sea service, job board, agency inbox, community and more. Every new account also gets 30 days of Seafarr Pro free.
Can agencies see my data?
Only what you agree to share. You choose your permissions when you sign up and can change them any time in Privacy Setting. Your medical background is visible to you alone.
What happens while I am deployed?
Seafarr knows when you are under contract. Your profile, consents and account are protected so nothing changes behind your back, and you can still renew documents that are about to expire. Everything opens again at sign-off, as MLC 2006 sets out.
What if something happens on board?
Report it in the app under My Welfare: an injury, unsafe conditions, harassment, a wage problem. It goes straight to your agency's welfare officer, is never closed automatically, and you can follow every reply until it is resolved.
My agency already has my records. Do I start from zero?
No. If your agency prepared a profile for you, Seafarr finds it when you sign up and brings your records and documents in with one tap.
How do I delete my account?
Request it in the app under Privacy Setting, or on our delete-account page. We verify the request, then delete your data within 30 days.
